Synopsis: While living in Rovaniemi, Joonas Neuvonen filmed a group of local young adults who had been living on drugs for the past half-decade. The men use whatever they can get their hands on and whatever fits into a syringe. They finance their drug habit with crime, and their connection to normal life is steadily weakening. Neuvonen has been following the lives of drug addicts closely for just under a year and has been given permission to film anything he wants. The material recorded by Neuvonen is unique in its authenticity and rawness, as well as being harsh, bleak, and shocking.
The main character of the documentary, Jani, and his few friends live in Rovaniemi. They use drugs and commit petty crimes. Jani tries to break into a car, but the alarms scare him away. Later, Jani tries to sell a car radio, almost runs over a pedestrian with a car, and in the center of Rovaniemi, one of the group falls off a roof. Jani also tells the camera how he would like to leave Rovaniemi and stop using drugs because it would "improve his quality of life." The police arrest Jani and he is sentenced. However, Jani gets money "from somewhere he can't tell the camera about" and sets off on a journey.
